Q: Before becoming an ambassador for Fairfax & Favor you were already often spotted wearing our products. What is it that appeals to you about the brand?
Zara: I have always really liked how Fairfax & Favor combine timeless elegance and practicality. The craftsmanship is very good, and the stylish designs are versatile enough to transition from casual to more formal settings.
Q: Do you have a favourite Fairfax & Favor product, if so, what separates it from all the rest?
Zara: I feel that Fairfax & Favor pieces work well to elevate any look, which is why the Regina boot is such a wardrobe staple, they finish any tailored look and the range of heel heights are perfect for adding versatility to any outfit.
Q: You recently mentioned in the press that it was your mother who had instilled the importance of wearing quality products. How do you define a ‘quality product’? What characteristics do you look for?
Zara: A quality product is typically characterised by its durable materials and thoughtful design. I look for items that not only look great but also stand the test of time.
Q: What are the key factors you consider when trying to balance style with performance in your life?
Zara: Products have to be versatile and functional. I need to be confident that they’ll perform but also look stylish when I’m doing all the things I need to when I’m out and about.
Q: What’s important to you in what you wear?
Zara: I spend a lot of time outside so need footwear and clothing that supports the lifestyle we lead whether that’s standing on the sideline watching the kids, walking the dogs or attending the races.
Q: What would be your number one style tip for dressing at the Cheltenham Festival?
Zara: My number one style tip for dressing at the Cheltenham Festival would be to create a balance between elegance and practicality. Choose a classic, tailored outfit, but make sure to incorporate layers and weather appropriate accessories.
Q: What influences your style choices? Are there particular people, cultures, or eras that inspire you?
Zara: For me it’s about what works and feels good to wear.  For events where I have to get more dressed up, I work with an amazing stylist who is brilliant at finding pieces that reflect the type of event it is so for instance when I go to Australia for the annual Magic Millions event, I wear a mix of British and Australian designers and then will continue wearing them when I am back in the UK.
