Protect with: Renapur Leather Balsam Dry, cracked, or dirty leather can prevent the waterproof Sympatex ® membrane from performing effectively.

Tips: If your boot has tassels, we recommend tightening the tassels screw backs once received and when you wear them, this will help ensure no lost tassels! Lost a screw back? We have Replacement screw backs available.

Avoid: Wearing round the farm or stables, ammonia can effect the wearability of your boots, if muck gets on your boots remove immediately.

Tips: If the leather gets wet clean the leather with a neutral-coloured microfibre cloth and leave it to dry naturally then reapply Renapur Leather Balsam. Dry, cracked, or dirty leather can prevent the waterproof Sympatex ® membrane from performing effectively.

AVOID: Chemicals, abrasive materials, spillages, ironing & aggressive cleaning

Store with: Boot Trees & Signature Boot Bag.
Avoid: Heat, damp, and direct sunlight

Tips: Store your boots in their dust-bags and blue box. If you find your boots are a little too tall for you, we recommend using Heel raisers. 

Note: The Vibram® soles, are heavy duty and are tested to British Industry Standards for slip resistance, flex, and wear. To care for your soles, remove stones and clean thoroughly after use. Punctures to the sole, insole damage and nicks/tears in the lining can all affect the waterproof ability of the boot.

The Explorers are tested to British Industry standards for 8 hours to confirm no water ingress. This means that the boots are waterproof to the elements for up to 8 hours if they are maintained properly*.

*Whilst the boots are tested to be waterproof in everyday conditions, puddles and wet grass etc. We do not recommend fully submerging or wading in them. For this type of activity the only true protection would be a rubber wellington. Please note that excess moisture that is retained in your footwear can accelerate the insoles coming loose in your shoe. Please contact our Customer Service team for more information regarding this.
