CARE RECOMMENDATIONS

Protect with: Renapur Leather Balsalm

Note: Naturally occurring PH oils on your dogs skin and hair can penetrate and build up on leather causing it to weaken over time. Eventually, body oils affect leather by causing it to start to crack and the stitching can start to fray. This can be prevented by the suitable care of the Collar.

CLEANING RECOMMENDATIONS

Machine Washable: No
Dry Clean: No

Tip: Clean the leather with a neutral-coloured microfibre cloth and leave it to dry naturally. Remove mud and dirt immediately to stop moisture being drawn from the leather.

MAINTENANCE & STORAGE

Store in: Their dust-bags and blue box
Avoid: Heat, damp, and direct sunlight

Note: All of our collars have been tested against dye transfer in light wet conditions however, red leather is highly pigmented and, if exposed to heavy wet conditions (i.e. swimming), there is a likelihood of a transfer of colour. This isn’t at all harmful to your dog, but we would advise removing the collar if you are likely to encounter wet conditions. A way to avoid this would be regularly treating your dog collar with a leather balm, this will protect it and help with water proofing. Just like your leather boots or bag, you would not submerge in water, we advise the same for your Dog’s Collar!

Disclaimer: If the collar is a croc print design, due to the shine nature of the croc leather, the collar can wear differently to our other items. Friction against other materials can cause scuffing on the leather particularly where frequent and/or prolonged.
